چکیده
The use of microwave is increasing day by day all over the world. Microwaves are used in mobile phones, microwave ovens, etc. Mobile or cellular phones are now an integral part of modern telecommunications. In many countries, over half the population use mobile or cellular phones and the market is growing rapidly. Researches are going on in various countries on the possible health effects of microwave radiation. In this article the results of such researches have been discussed. ARTICLE

A review on combined biological effects of microwave and other physical or chemical agents
With the development of science and technology, microwave has been used in many fields such as industry, military, medicine and communication. People are living in a lapped and dynamic electromagnetic environment. Concerns about potential hazards of microwave are getting increasing attentions. The single biological effects of microwave were widely discussed which was considered harmful. Relevan...
متن کاملDegradation of Transformer Oil (PCB Compounds) by Microwave Radiation, Ethanol Solvent, Hydrogen Peroxide and Dioxide Titanium for Reducing Environmental Hazards
Background: Poly chlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are a class of chlorinated organic chemicals that do not easily degrade in the environment. This study was conducted to determine the effect of microwave rays, hydrogen peroxide, dioxide titanium and ethanol solvent on the degradation of PCBs. Methods: A 900w domestic MW oven with a fixed frequency of 2450 MHZ was used to provide MW irradiation. R...

Background: Poly chlorinated biphenyls (PCBS) are the groups of organic chemical material and toxic, persistent, bio accumulate and pose a risk of causing adverse effects to human health and the environment. PCB compounds are caused the different health effects in human depending of age, sex, route of entry, intensity and frequency exposure. This study was conducted to determine the effect of...
متن کاملFOURTH ANNUAL TRI-SERVICE CONFERENCE on the BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF MICROWAVE RADIATION
S of PAPERS The introductory welcome was made by Col. George M. Knauf (Patrick Air Force Base) who is also the Chairman of the Tri-Service Ad Hoc Committee on Microwave Hazards. Col. Knauf reviewed the background of the studies of these hazards and stated the arbitrary nature of the current limiting exposure rate of .01 watt/cm , Obviously, since different frequencies are absorbed by bio-
متن کاملBioeffects of microwave--a brief review.
Since the 18th century scientists have been intrigued by the interaction of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and various life processes. Attention has been focussed on EMFs in different frequency ranges, of which microwave frequency range forms an important part. Microwaves are part of the electromagnetic spectrum and are considered to be that radiation ranging in frequency from 300 million cycles...
